cat haiku

You never feed me.
Perhaps I'll sleep on your face.

That will sure show you.

You must scratch me there!
Yes, above my tail!

Behold, elevator butt.

The rule for today:
Touch my tail, I shred your hand.

New rule tomorrow.

You're always typing.
Well, let's see you ignore my

sitting on your hands.

I want to be close
to you. Can I fit my head

inside your armpit?

ok........hows this for a short & sweet rational's thought on who does what:

the idealist thinks it up

the rational thinks: can this work?

the artisan builds it.......& .......

the guardian makes sure it is according to code

........oh wait! already are!........and just don't know it!

"the architect's dream"

this is my most favorite painting.......saw it first time in my english class as a freshman in highschool.......loved it so much.......i got the post card from the museum

i need to find that postcard & frame it & put it somewhere i can see it all the time
one little bit of inspiration from my past....i also remember.....any chance i got.....i opened the book to the page the painting was on...........just so i could stare @ it

god of insects

one more

and more

great site by the way:

things i like

i love costume & design & special effects
three forms of art

(there's some psychological stuff too)

my daughter & i were discussing "zena warrior
princess" & how we liked the costumes but the
acting sucked.......i was not really able to
"suspend disbelief" when watching any episode

but.......a movie like lord of the rings.......
w/special effects
w/not half bad

coupled w/having read the trilogy every year for
about ten years and imagined how things would
look if i were designing the costumes...etc...etc...etc

well........i guess you know.....i would not have much
trouble suspending disbelief watching that movie

we would be in awe
of each other, in all ways
and then...sometimes not

eh...who cares

so late in life
for discovering me....ME!
how much time have i?

i think i might have just invented a new type
of haiku.........but probably

even if........... "you thought of it first" didn't

Beings I Want To Thank

i want to thank chickens
not the true free-range chickens
i want to thank all those chickens in pens 24/7
their life cycle regulated by us humans
as if we even had a clue what a chicken needs
if we mirror ourselves
then the chickens in the pens is how we see our selves pens
being force-fed.........another ?.......what are we being force-fed?
doing the same thing over & over again
history repeats itself
and we can't know another life........another possibility.......if all we
know is what we mirror in our world
take a look around............and i mean really look..........don't let your
eyes glaze over......when you see

i am known to speak a lot
as a myers-briggs rational: the absent minded professor
i can tell you about many things....spewing out bits of info
i find it interesting that my favorite poems are

getting an idea across in the fewest amount of

which makes me think about how opposites attract
and why they attract
is it so that each person sees who the other person is
.......and i mean really sees
all the wonderful stuff.........and all the bucket full of
puke and then realizes this opposite is really not i typed in an earlier cannot know what
one does not know..........forgive me.......i ramble

web sites

i love these sites:

ok..........that is enough for now

gonna color my hair w/henna........maybe

quinn's b-day is tomorrow.......making him a pearl birthstone

morning 09-18-08

some thing that touched my heart

the....specialness....of being up so early that you
hear the quiet...
and the slow awakening of beings to their daily ablutions....
no one in the whole world is hearing it the same way as me
no one is experiencing the same intense emotions i feel at
this time of day....
i am the only one hearing my slice of world wake up
but......... i'll bet anyone who reads this will know
exactly what i am talking about.

1. for my love (so nh):

blue eyes 2
Burning, crying 4
My fragile heart 4
Broken, dying 4
My love for you 4
Never fading 4
Here I am 3
Forever waiting..5
i love you so 4
2. Re: for my love:

Very touching. Written by you or someone else?
3. RE: for my love (so nh) (la la land):

caring not who wrote
lovely poetry to post
very like haiku

i like haiku
4. RE: la la land:

You keep posting and I will keep reading them.
You are very talented.
5. RE: la la land (do re me fa so la-ti-da):

i thank you kindly
rare is the stimulus here
to keep one posting

good night
6. RE: la la la land:

Good nite

if you say goodbye
i will truly be laid waste
but life does go on

poem/haiku: 07/24/08

i am really
focusing in on
the end
of this reality.
of me,
no more

and again.............only smaller:

5) my focus is death
7) mine. this reality ends.
5) me, no more ever.

i hate the fact that to me you appear to do nothing
and yet i know that is not true of you
you have a way of "doing" something that is different
from how i "do it"
and the conundrum
i couldn't recognize it in you if i didn't posses the
same quality
i can't know what i don't know
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together

long live the beatles!!!!!

and besides

"just ask me: is this what you really want?"

is a fucking cop-out

the words unspoken
by your hurt or by my hurt
creates our chasm

Category: Life

i have spent the day surfing the web
looking @ shelters........specifically
the "shelters in a cart" designs
and i like all of the ideas.........some more than others
but the thing that keeps nagging me:

these people are homeless because our culture is so
f....ed up
so many greedy people
what the wrong w/us?

maybe the competition should have been:
"ideas to change what we have allowed in
our culture that has caused homelessness"

but you know what else?

those homeless people will survive better than the
rest of the coming days

Here's To The Crazy Ones

June 1, 2009 - Monday

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers. The round
pegs in the square holes - the
ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules and
they have no respect for
the status quo. You can praise
them, disagree with them,
quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing that you
can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.

- Jack Kerouac
quoted in an Apple Computer Ad, 1997

June 1, 2009 - Monday

“ You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before, she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She’s not perfect - you aren’t either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze and don’t expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she’s not there.
— Bob Marley

in order to feed you
you must feed me
since the beginning of time.....this has been true

if you can not or will not behave in a manner that does not shame me in my home, (earth), then you need to leave.

your intolerance in my home, (earth), is an unacceptable behavior.
